Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. provides care for the entire family. Services include family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, pharmacy, radiology, minor surgery, behavioral health, and nutrition.
Fees and Payments
- Payment is expected the day of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made.
- If you need to make several visits we can give you an estimate of the total cost and arrange a payment plan.
- We accept checks, cash, Visa/MasterCard, private insurance and Medicaid.
- Please remember that no insurance company covers all costs. It is your responsibility to pay the balance that is not paid by your insurance company.
- With private insurance, please be prepared to pay your co-pay at each visit.
- If you cannot pay for healthcare, call to see if you qualify to be on our Sliding Fee Scale program.
Service Discounts
Services are available on the sliding fee scale, where you pay based on family size and income. If you would like to know if you qualify for discounts, please ask our receptionist for more information.
Emergency Care
Our clinic only sees patients during office hours. After-Hours Emergencies: Call 536-6000 for the medical answering service.
Regular Office Hours Emergencies
Call after 8:00 am and we will try to work you into the schedule.
Language Access
Charles Drew Health Center, Inc. provides on-site interpretation and translation services for non-English speaking patients. Language Access provides services in more than 15 languages.
